    In this one hour brief, Mobile Malware Expert Tom Slovenski will take you into the newest threat to the IT community:   mobile phone spyware. You will not want to miss this exciting, informative and up to date symposium that will give your clients, your bosses and friends the answers they are seeking!
    About the Speaker Thomas J. Slovenski is the owner of Cellular Forensics(tm), LLC: South Carolina's first private forensic technology firm specializing in cell phone data recovery, cell site analysis and malware/spyware detection. As a former law enforcement detective and private investigator, Tom has over 25 years of investigative experience. Tom was a Sergeant with a large metropolitan Sheriff's Department and member of the Forensics Division while serving as the Senior Investigator of Internal Affairs and directing investigations in five (5) separate county divisions. Tom also holds a BA degree from Bob Jones University.

2010 Ethical Hacking Workshop - Wednesday, March 24th, 2010 (5:30pm to 9:30pm) and Saturday, March 27th, 2010 (8:30am to 12:30pm)
Looking for Real World experience in hacking and defending networks and their systems? Operate as a professional penetration tester or as a malicious attacker in this four-hour event. Hack the Flag involves teams of participants using the latest security tools in "hacking" available targets which include a corporate Windows-based infrastructure to include Linux systems and Cisco routers.

    A nominal fee of $25 will be charged to cover expenses for non-Upstate SC ISSA memebers with all proceeds going to the Upstate SC ISSA Chapter. If interested in attending, please register by sending an Email address to webmaster@upstate-issa.org.
